The FUSE makerspace site was a complex redesign that needed to incorporate: Class Scheduling, Equipment Calendars, workshop purchasing and a robust POS. I was part of the design team that created the site and collaborated with external and internal clients, developers and stakeholders
The site has many functions and a variety of internal and external users. Internal users needed to: schedule classes/workshops, sell materials and manually edit member info. External users needed to: create a profile, purchase memberships, classes and materials.
The biggest challenge was to create a robust calendar that displayed upcoming classes clearly and allow users to purchase and register, solving business issues for the FUSE team.
